The 2023 Buffalo Stampede Festival was another brilliant edition of Australia’s original SkyRun. The trail running event saw a record 1,600+ participants from across Australia and overseas descend on Bright in Victoria's high country in search of an epic adventure.

The Buffalo Stampede, Australia’s original SkyRun, was reimagined in 2022. Drawing a record 1,200+ participants from across Australia to Bright in Victoria's high country in search of an epic adventure.

Buffalo Stampede Festival ultra grand slam 2022

A weekend running around the mountains is never a bad time. Doing it down in Bright is utopian. Luke Barrett raced 10km, 100km and 42km across the weekend, well enough to score him a podium in the Ultra Grand Slam.
